Who
Weymouth boys and girls in 4th grade through 9th grade.

The backbone of our program are the volunteer coaches and assistant coaches. No experience is needed. You can indicate interest during registration.
When
Games will be held on Sundays. Grades 4/5 will be in the morning and 6-9 will be in the afternoon.
The first game will be Sunday December 8th, and Championship Sunday will be February 16th.
No games on Sun 12/29. And when the Weymouth schools are closed for snow or other reason, the gyms are closed. We may have some limited ability to make up missed games(s).
Where
4th and 5th have their games at Abigail Adams Gym (behind the Town Hall).
6th-9th play at Weymouth HS.
Practices will be in Weymouth elementary school gyms, times and locations TBD after the teams are formed.
Practices
Because of the Weymouth gym shortage, this year we will only be having practices during December. But we are working on adding some skill sessions.
Games
We have an eight-game season + playoffs. We may have some limited ability to make up cancelled games.
Jerseys
This year we will have the best jerseys on the South Shore. Each team will have the look of an NBA team, and the team name (our generous sponsors) will be on the back.
cost
We have reduced our fee to $160 this year and are offering a payment plan to all families. Please contact us if you need to discuss.

Can girls play?
We welcome girls and a few play every year, especially in the 4th/5th grade division. But if your player wants an all-girls league please visit our friends at WeymouthGirlsBasketball.com.
Does my old LeagueApps registration account still work?
No! We have made improvements to our registration system. We now use Crossbar (this website). We rolled it out over the summer to positive feedback. Your old LeagueApps account will not work!
You will need to create a Crossbar account for all things WJBL. If you already have one from the Summer League please continue using that one!
I remember showing up in November for evaluations. Is that happening?
We are not holding evaluations this year. As a Board, we have discussed ways to ensure the teams are competitive without adding that even to the families' schedule. Part of this is the added registration questions about experience and such.
